Happy Monday! Today the Leafs play the Oilers for the last time and we have some schedule changes.

The last Montreal game is now May 11, which means playoffs in the North won’t start until May 12 or 13. The Leafs now finish against the Sens, not the Habs.

As mentioned today is the last meeting of the Leafs and the Oilers in the regular season. We had normal lines at practice yesterday, so here’s hoping that’s tonight’s lineup.

The Marlies play tonight as well, so here’s hoping this means Scott is ready to play.

Last night for reasons that don’t need exploring at this juncture, I was watching the Florida Panthers and got to see the terrible injury to Aaron Ekblad live.

Meanwhile over the border, this atrocity was going on:

I’m not an absolutist when it comes to the NHL rule book, but ya know, maybe stuff like that crosscheck to the throat should get 20 games or so.

And that’s your Monday started off, you finish it how you like.
