First, holy hell there are a lot of you who want to play some fantasy puck. Currently the total count stands at 106 108 participants in 6 leagues. That's a whole hell of a lot of fantasy players. However, there are is currently two one open spots for managers; 1 in the Auction Draft League and 1 in the Fantasy Points League. If you want to participate, send me an email saying which of the two league you'd like to be in and I'll add you. First come, first serve. All gone folks!
I've emailed the commissioners of each league the list of managers for their league and the league rules per your answers on the PPPPP Phorm. They will be contacting you all shortly with your respective league's ID# and password so you can join the league on Yahoo!. If you don't have a Yahoo! account yet, please create one now. For all talk about your specific league, please use your League Message Board in Yahoo.
One of my favorite aspects of fantasy sports is coming up with a great name for your fantasy team. Last year I ran Team Datsyuk My Balls, and this year I'll be at the helm of Team Life Orr Death. Since we around here seem to love competition, I'm going to hold a one to see who can come up with the best original fantasy hockey team name for their team in PPPPP. (Twenty character limit.) So in the comments below, post the name of your team and rec the ones that you like. I'll narrow it down to the 10 best names and will have a poll in Friday's FTB where all of PPP can vote for the winner. What do you get for winning? Pride and bragging rights. So get creative and have at it.
