Natalie Spooner beat Corinne Schroeder first to the blocker and then to the glove as she scored twice in the shootout for Toronto's fifth win in a row. PWHL Toronto catapulted themselves up the standings after chipping away at New York's goalie for 53 minutes until Emma Maltais opened the scoring. Ella Shelton (who else) scored with 7 seconds left in regulation, forcing overtime before Spooner's shootout magic.
