Peter DeBoer now holds the record for most Game 7 wins by a Head Coach or Manager in the history of North American major sports leagues (NHL, NBA, MLB).
He’s also done it undefeated at 9-0. pic.twitter.com/3QXxQZIX2A
In prospect news, the Knight (Easton Cowan) vs the Generals (Ben Danford) start playing in the OHL final on Thursday:

The WHL finals have not been scheduled yet that I can find. But the same start date seems likely.
In PWHL news, the regular season ended yesterday, with the final standings order:
- Montréal Victoire
- Toronto Sceptres
- Ottawa Charge
- Minnesota Frost.
Boston and New York miss out this year. Montréal have until sometime today to pick their opponent between Ottawa and Minnesota for the semifinals. Toronto, naturally plays the other team. Both playoff rounds are best of five.
