Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!
Okay, so it was a loss last night for the boys in blue, but it was a close game, the team chemistry is still gelling after a lot of changes in the office season, a big trade after camp, and a short preseason.
A 3-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators is never fun, but there's still 81 games to go.
A highlight of the game was William Nylander moving up to 9th all time in scoring Maple Leafs assists, netting his 400th last night.
He's only 54 behind teammate Morgan Rielly, and should come close to, if not pass, Tomáš Kaberle this season.

Now, some news.
Welcome to the big time, Gavin.
Daniel Alfredsson faced off against Ottawa for the first time on the Leafs bench and it's still kinda weird to have him here.

The Senators started their season with a win, but also had a loss in Jake Sanderson, as he left the game in the first period.

The Toronto Marlies raised their championship banner and Hammered Hamilton in their home opener, winning 5-3.

Are we paying enough attention to player names?

Former Stanley Cup winner with the Montreal Canadians, and the first captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Lyle Odelin passed away Friday night.

$3.7 million was raised this weekend in Vaughan for Princess Margaret Hospital after an annual road hockey tournament.

Finally, have you made all of your hockey plans for the season yet?

Enjoy your day everyone!
