Salary Cap compliant rosters have to be finalised by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, which means any final roster decisions essentially need to be made today. The Leafs are still in Arizona for the team bonding, at least I think, maybe they took a red-eye home to Toronto last night, but all of that needs to be cleaned up essentially by tomorrow morning as the first game of the season is on Tuesday against the Habs.

The Marlies played their first preseason game against the Rochester Amerks today and took a 3-1 loss. But we got to see a preview of the lineup to come. Blake Smith, first line D!
