There was a big game last night, and the Toronto team won! The Leafs convincingly beat the Flyers 5-2 and there were lots of highlight moments, like our precious cowboy Easton Cowan scoring his first NHL goal. Craig Berube said "he had a hell of a game tonight. The way he hung on to pucks and made plays, competed on the puck and his stick details. He did a lot of good things tonight."

Hilarious is Anthony Stolarz when he's simply done with what's going on.

The one moment that was upsetting was seeing Chris Tanev pulled out on a stretcher after getting hit and falling head first to the ice. Berube said post-game that he was receiving further tests at a hospital, but was cautiously optimistic, adding "he might be coming home with us" (as in Saturday) with the team.

Here's the post-game media. The next Leafs game is tomorrow here in Toronto against the Penguins.

The Marlies were not so lucky last night, running into the Chicago Wolves offence, they lost the game 4-1. Dennis Hildeby was in net but wasn't helped out when the Marlies took three penalties in the second period. The lone Marlies goal was by Henry Thrun, his second of the season and that was quite a shot to make it in to the net.

There is a rematch in Chicago today at 4:00 p.m. EST, as in standard time. Daylight savings ended last night, so go and reset all those clocks in your home that don't do it themselves.

And that's it for Sunday, folks. OK... fine... there was some other sports thingy last night in Toronto and, yeah, but what a ride that was and I don't think there's anyone at fault on that team. They were literally inches from winning it at one point. But that's baseball.
