The Toronto Maple Leafs have an entire week without a game. On Tuesday, Dec. 8 they defeated the New Jersey Devils 3-2 in a shootout; their next game is... Tuesday, Dec. 15 when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning.

That's nuts. You gotta find something to do with all that time off between games. Practice is all well and good, but it's also the holidays, which means it's time for giving.

And the Leafs are helping give in one of the best ways: they're helping build homes for Habitat for Humanity, from the players to the front office itself.

(Frank Corrado gets to do something!!)

This is awesome. Good on the players for taking the time to swing hammers around and probably not injure themselves for a good cause!

Update: And hey, there's more!
