You know, I was going to write a whole big thing about the game and include all the GIFs and how McKenna scored twice and it was great. Then this happened and I knew no one would care about anything else, so why waste my time?

Now we are in the already heavily-charted territory of an early-season goalie controversy which will consume all the oxygen in the room for the next few weeks. Boy am I ever excited for this shit again. Bob wasn't perfection, Stolarz won that game a few games ago! Why did the Leafs ever sign Bob? Can the Leafs trade for a good goalie? Is it the Toronto media that zero Leafs players even know exist causing too much pressure for Bob? Coming soon to a hockey Youtuber near you!

Seriously. The next few days will be so painful. "BOB HAD TO MAKE THAT SAVE!" was all of ten seconds after the end of the game until we got to that trope.

Here's Hiller after the game.

At least the Leafs tried harder than the Devils did here.

The Leafs next game is Saturday at 4:00 p.m. PT, the perfect time for a game in Vancouver.

I don't really feel like writing more about the Leafs right now, but the Hockey Canada women did beat the USA Hockey in their warm-up game in Windsor last night 5-3, so enjoy these highlights.

And USA Hockey has learned not to leave Caitlin Kraemer uncovered in front of the net.

Gotta Fillier up that net.
