The Toronto Maple Leafs are starting their California road trip tonight against the LA Kings, who look to get their first win under new coach. The Leafs called up Trevor Moore to join the team, but he won’t get into tonight’s game.

Tom Wilson’s suspension was reduced to 14 games, though he’s already missed more than that. Chris Johnston has some details on the reasoning behind the ruling:
In making his ruling on the Tom Wilson case, arbitrator Shyam Das took issue with George Parros' decision to use a 3x multiplier for repeat offences. He reduced it to 2x.

So Das took the length of Wilson's most recent suspension (3 games) and doubled it because it occurred in the playoffs (6). He then doubled it again for Wilson's repeat offences (12) and followed Parros' lead by adding two games for Oskar Sundqvist's injuries (14).
