Good Morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

It’s not usually a busy day here at PPP, as we hit pause on the kitten ranching and take some time off. We’ve had a very busy year here and throughout Leafs nation. The first half of 2018 saw the Leafs waiting around for the playoffs, their position as one of the top three in the Atlantic Division locked up nice and early.

We had a short playoff against the Boston Bruins, and a long time to say good-bye to Tyler Bozak, James van Riemsdyk, and Leo Komarov.

Then we got John Tavares!

The gifts could have ended there, but as this season went on we saw the emergence of Mitch Marner as one of the teams best players, Morgan Rielly start to etch his name on the Norris Trophy, and William Nylander locked up to a nice $6.9m/year contract.

2018 was pretty good, and closer to New Years Eve we’ll have a good year in review for you.

There’s not much going on news wise, but Trevor Moore was returned to the Marlies after making his NHL debut last night. He’ll be back in action with the Marlies at the Scotiabank Arena on Boxing Day to take on the Belleville Senators.

Maple Leafs Hot Stove has a list of gifts for the team.

Keep reading and I may just gift one of you with a tote bag of your own.
