What about Patrick Marleau to a team on the West Coast? Is Nikita Zaitsev going somewhere? There’s also the matter of another assistant coach. Will he be hired today?

IT COULD HAPPEN!

Unfortunately, it’s likely none of that will happen. We’ll all simply spend this day wondering about what could possibly happen tomorrow.

At least it’s a happy day for one group from the Leafs organization. Or, maybe, it’s more of a day of being hungover?
