"The Toronto Marlies announced today that the club will not renew the contracts of head coach Greg Moore and assistant coaches A.J. MacLean and John Snowden."

A.J. MacLean, son of Paul, had been with Kyle Dubas and Sheldon Keefe since their days with the Soo Greyhounds and has worked as the Marlies assistant coach since 2015.

John Snowden has been with the Leafs ECHL organization dating back to the Orlando Solar Bears and was promoted to head coach of the Newfoundland Growlers in 2019. He spent some time as their president of hockey operations before joining the Marlies as an assistant coach two seasons ago.

Greg Moore was the replacement for Sheldon Keefe on the Marlies four seasons ago. He came with Ryan Hardy from the Chicago Steel.

In Moore's time as head coach, the Marlies finished 7th, 4th, 6th, and 1st in the North Division. In their one playoff tournament, they beat the fourth seed (Utica) in the maximum five games and got swept by the third seed (Rochester).
