Also, Winnipeg signed some guy, so, good for him.
Winnipeg has signed RFA defenceman Ville Heinola to a two-year contract extension with an average annual value in the NHL of $800,000.

Heinola loses his waivers exemption this year. It's the NHL or a trip to waivers if the Jets try to return him to the Moose.
The Edmonton Oilers are Ottawa Senators made a prospect focused trade. No cap dumps or anything.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Leafs did well at #28.
