Yesterday, the Maple Leafs updated their website with some changes to management employees including updating some roles and adding some previously announced hires. Some other new names are:

  • Dr. David Lawrence has been named the Primary Care and Sports Medicine Physician. He is also with the Macintosh Sport Medicine Clinic at UofT and holds the title of Primary Care Physician with the Blue Jays.
  • Sean Braziel has been named a hockey operations advisor. He has worked with USA Hockey in the past and has several advanced degrees in science.
  • Doug Gasper is listed as the Head of Amateur Scouting for Canada West. He has been with the New York Rangers for four years after a stint as the AGM of the Brandon Wheat Kings. He worked for the Canucks as a scout as well.
  • Paul Mara is listed as a pro scout. He has been an assistant coach in the AHL and coached the Boston Pride of the NWHL/PHF for five years.
  • Will Sibley, who has been the Leafs Director of Analytics for seven years, is now the Assistant Director, Player Personnel below Jeremiah Crowe, another recent hire. Brad Rossen, previously announced, has the job of Vice President of Research & Development.
