The women who made the complaint seem to care more about the future of the boys and their growth than their team officials and some parents.

There was a knee jerk reaction from the boys' team to reject any outsider criticism, and that's an issue every hockey team at all levels has to confront. There is not purpose to initiatives to educate young hockey players if their teams have a culture of rejecting all outside voices. And that culture clearly started with the adults in charge.
