GDT: The Habs chose to spend their last day of the season in Toronto

Tonight there will be a moment of silence before every game played in the NHL, as there was this afternoon in Philadelphia. This is the sentiment that spoke most to me about playing or watching or loving the game, today of all days:

In that spirit, we recognize the pain and heartbreak of the day, but also the love of the game. And we go on and cheer for our team the way we always have.

This is it, the last day of hockey. Tomorrow we wake up and there’s no more games to watch.

Oh, wait, that’s Habs fans, not us. Forgot for a second.

This might help out the Canadiens players who are suddenly at loose ends.

Meanwhile as we wait for the decision on Tampa or Boston as the next destination for the Leafs, let’s beat the Habs!

Go Leafs Go!
