NHL All-Star Game 2019
Time: 8:00 p.m. EST
Location: The Shark Tank
Broadcast/Streaming: CBC / Sportsnet / NHL TV

The two Western Conference division teams will play first, starting officially at 8:15 p.m. (all times EST). The two Eastern Conference division teams will play next, starting at 9:15. Then there will be a final match between the winning teams of the Western Conference and the Eastern Conference which will likely start around 10:15 p.m.

The format for the games is the same as in recent years: it’s 3-on-3 hockey exactly like Regular Season NHL games. The League reminded us today that the Central Division has yet to ever win a single All-Star Game in this format.

The prize is $1M which the winning team can split up as they like.

Toronto Marlies @ Belleville Senators
Time: 7:00 p.m. EST
Location: That arena with the worst parking lot ever
Broadcast/Streaming: LNN / AHL TV

The Marlies lost big to the B-Senators last night. Sheldon Keefe called it “a thorough ass-kicking.” Here’s hoping they can turn it around for an important intra-division win tonight.

Tom Sestito does exist!

The Marlies presently occupy the last playoff spot in their division, so this is a really important game as the AHL is now well into the second half of its regular season.

With the Boat Show ending this weekend, the Marlies will fainlly return to the Coliseum, getting five home games in a row starting Friday and Saturday next weekend against the Laval Rocket. Don’t forget that Saturday February 9th is Star Wars night!
