The Senators are in town tonight for what is actually only their second game against the Maple Leafs this season. It was exactly four months ago that these team last met. The Senators won that game 5-3.
Of course, both teams have since moved in much different directions after that game; only the second of the 2018-19 season. The Senators are now last in the entire NHL. The Maple Leafs still sit second in the Eastern Conference behind only the scary good Lightning.
Let’s hope for a better effort tonight than they put up back in October, when it mattered!
