New York Rangers win the Alexis Lafreniere NHL Draft Lottery

The second draft lottery was held on Monday, August 10, less than 24 hrs after the last 2020 NHL Qualifying Round loser had been added to the list of eight teams in the running.

The Toronto Maple Leafs joined, the New York Rangers, Winnipeg Jets, Minnesota Wild, Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators, Edmonton Oilers and Pittsburgh Penguins, all with the same chance of winning the first-overall pick.
