Last week we revealed the unranked and honourable mentions on the Official Vote.

And on the Community Vote:

For the first week there are three officially ranked players to recap.

Official Vote

#25 John Prokop

Ranked at a weighted average of 23.4, Prokp just squeaked into 25th spot over Nathan Mayes and Blake Smith with four voters ranking him.

#24 Topi Niemelä

Showing a dramatic fall from rank eighth last year, Niemelä barely outpaced Prokop with an average ranking of 23.3 from more votes – seven in total – but most of them hovering at 20 -25.

#23 Alexander Plesovskikh

Plesovskikh was a little more seriously voted onto the list with a ranking of 22.7 and six votes, some of them into the teens. He's not a player anyone is sure of, but many are intrigued by.

Community Vote

#25 Nicholas Moldenhauer

The 25th ranked player is a draftee from 2022 who hasn't yet appeared on the Official Vote. His weighted average ranking is 22.54, and as mentioned last week is barely higher than the 26th ranked Sam McCue.

Most people voted him in the 20 to 25 range.

#24 Semyon Der-Arguchintsev

Ranked at 21.78, a fairly meaningful amount up from Moldenhauer, SDA marks the start of actual slow march up the list. He also has not been seen yet on the Official Vote.

So four people (ha ha ha) ranked him first. But the beauty of this vote is that even in a no-consensus ranking like this one, noise like that gets drowned out.

#23 Borya Valis

Also not seen on the other vote yet, this free agent signing got a weighted average of 21.48.

A strong consensus ranking here.

Next week this vote will start with three virtually tied players and then the first medium-sized rise in overall vote value. Meanwhile the the Official Vote will have the first tie vote and feature six players revealed. See you then.
