Come check if your most/least favourite player gained or lost half an inch! Please don't be the fan that thinks Easton Cowan is ready for the show because they listed him at 6'0", because earlier this summer he knew he wasn't. Or that Cade Webber is a wash for losing that inch. Behind all the talk about Marner and stuff, a big topic of conversation is hoping Morgan Rielly can have a comeback year. As a veteran player it's surprising how much weight he's lost. We'll see what it looks like in the games.
Here's the full breakdown from Leafs training camp compared to the player's listing from last year's camp (or previous team if acquired since).

Notables include:
• Morgan Rielly slims down to 219. He's been at 220+ for as long as I can remember
• Easton Cowan at 6-foot, 190 https://t.co/plxijg6gX2 pic.twitter.com/wrB0WU55Kk
Check out the media availability from the first skating day of camp. Nick Robertson got a lot of questions about changes he's made, but he beyond training on his body positioning in battles he hasn't changed his mentality. Also, Chris Tanev has good things to say about Dakota Joshua.
Preseason All-Star voting is underway. Maybe this time it's enough for a trade.
Craig Berube says Nick Robertson was “noticeable” and “intense” on the first day of Leafs camp.

The original plan was to play Domi with Matthews and Knies, but instead yesterday Maccelli got the role. I don't think it's as negative of a situation as the headline makes it out to be. It should be said Maccelli hasn't played first line minutes before, he's been solidly in the middle of the lineup in the NHL in his career, so it would be a big jump for him.
Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube says he was reluctant to start Matias Maccelli with Matthew Knies and Auston Matthews on day one, but had to with Max Domi's injury.

"You get thrown on the line with Matthews and Knies, I mean, it's a big step." 🔗⤵️https://t.co/SeLzAodR8v
The writing appears to be on the wall for Robertson, and for a Stolarz extension.

Here were the lines from both groups in camp.
