Toronto lost last night to the Hurricanes. It wasn't very fun, but you already knew that if you watched the game or caught the recap.

Maple Leafs can’t handle the storm surge.

Carolina gets their fifth straight win over the Maple Leafs, doubling them up tonight 6-3. At least Nylander broke his no goal streak.

It would have been a nice if Toronto won, since they would have tied Washington for the most points in the Eastern Conference – albeit with more games played.

Ahhh, there's no freude like Schaden. The Bruins are still sitting in the first wild card spot, but they have more games played than the teams behind them. And they have a -27 goal differential on the season which... yeesh.

I don't put nearly that much blame on Cowan as others did. The whole team was a mess. He has always had issues with decision making, including with dumb penalties, but that was a problem prevalent through the whole team and Cowan wasn't even the worse offender in that regard.
