It’s Halloween, the one night a year we tell our kids to forget the rules, take all that candy from strangers. When they return we as parents will do our duty and make sure everything is safe and the candy isn’t poisoned, tampered, or raisins.

Then we teach them about the real world by taking our 50% parent tax - they have to learn some time.

If you have a party to attend, or are short enough that you’re going to try and get some candy out of your more dumb neighbours, will you be dressing up as a Maple Leaf tonight? There are some good ideas out there.

John Tavares is a good choice if you want more candy than everyone else and have some Islanders fans in the neighbourhood you want to scare.

Mitch Marner is an easy costume to make. Toss on a jersey and then stop everyone you pass to tell them about how great Tissot® Swiss Watches are.

For Auston Matthews all you need to do is dig out your old M. Bison costume from 1998 and you’re set.

For Frederik Andersen you need to stay up all night to really get in that overworked look.

Just be warned, if you dress up as William Nylander you may come across some angry Leafs fans who won’t take kindly to your ideas.
