The Maple Leafs need a victory, and they need it soon.

NHL: Stanley Cup Playoffs-Toronto Maple Leafs at Boston Bruins Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

The Maple Leafs have dug a big two game hole, looking outclassed through all but a few segments in those two games. They can at least look forward to the series jumping to Toronto on Monday. Perhaps home ice will help them recall their defensive play?

Maybe they can dig their way out!

Over at Ricoh Coliseum the Marlies play their last game of the regular season today against the Belleville Senators after a solid victory yesterday over the Laval Rocket. Their playoff opponent for the first round was finally sealed as the Utica Comets, who are the Canucks affiliate. The Comets will be an interesting challenge. They have their own elite goaltender prospect in Thatcher Demko who had a 0.923 sv% over 45 games this season.

However the Marlies have brough in their secret weapon: Carl Grundstrom. His fire power is already contributing with a goal and an assist in his first two games.

"In North America the modern undertaker’s job is increasingly one of event-planning, says Sherri Tovell, an undertaker in Windsor, Canada. Among the requirements at her recent funerals have been a tiki hut, margaritas, karaoke and pizza delivery. Some people want to hire an officiant to lead a “life celebration”, others to shoot ashes into the skies with fireworks."
