I get it Maple Leafs fans. We have high expectations for this season. We’re focused on the Stanley Cup for the first time in almost 20 years. Things aren’t going great after the Christmas break, but I’m going to fall back on my old friend perspective to get me through the hard times.
It could be worse.
Look at the Anaheim Ducks: 12 game losing streak. Randy Carlyle as head coach.
If you’re wondering where the @AnaheimCalling staff is at emotionally after losing 12 in a row pic.twitter.com/mhaRomXqkY

The Dallas Stars are getting almost all of their offense from Seguin/Benn/Radulov. No one else is stepping up and the team is doing all it can to put the blame squarely on those players.
The Buffalo Sabres have turned back into a pumpkin after riding the high of a 10 game winning streak, and will once again miss the playoffs.
The Edmonton Oilers are wasting the prime career years of Connor McDavid.
The Arizona Coyotes. That’s it.
See? It could be a lot worse.
And now, the news.
A thank you to the new regime in charge of the Leafs
Sabres fans are imaging life without their current head coach. That’s the good stuff.
A Rick Nash fan says goodbye.
Josh Gorges once blocked a trade to the Maple Leafs. Thank you Josh.
The Senators arena drama continues
The Washington Capitals did some good
Things will work out in Niagara. I have faith.
Enjoy your day folks!
