It’s playoff week in the world. The Stanley Cup Playoffs get started on Wednesday, but the Leafs don’t play Game One until Thursday.

There have been a lot of mixed emotions about the series despite the fact we knew it was going to happen when the puck dropped in October for the first time. Some are excited for the challenge, some are frustrated with the fact that it has to be Boston, others are watching old highlights from last year, but for the most part, people are concerned.

Well let’s take the time to play a fun game of positivity. Regardless of what you believe, come up with the craziest take about the Leafs and Boston in the first round. Record it somewhere and see how many of them actually happen.

I’ll start:

  1. Connor Brown will score the first goal in at least one game.
  2. Tuukka Rask will allow more than five goals in at least on game.
  3. Brad Marchand will get danced.
  4. Brad Marchand will break last year’s record and lick three people.
  5. Frederik Gauthier will score an end-to-end game-winning goal.
  6. Zach Hyman hat-trick.
  7. A Boston player will score on their own net.
  8. THE LEAFS WILL SWEEP THE BOSTON BRUINS!!!

Consider it a cathartic exercise to release all the pessimism.
