Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

Are we still riding the high of that comeback over Montréal or what?

Recap: Leafs have a party over the Habs
It was 0-3, then it was 7-3

What a great game. I was hanging out at my sister's and we never bothered to turn the game on since I arrived when the Leafs were down 3-0. But at 3-2 I had an itch and we turned it on.

Oh what a night!

Now after a day to reflect, and remember how to score seven goals, the Leafs are back in Toronto and are hosting the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight at 7:30PM on Amazon Prime.

Once a top of the division team, the Lightning are now hanging out with the Senators and Bruins in the middle of the pack.

That's not to say they should be taken lightly, they still have plenty of firepower still. So that's tonight, for now though let's see what else is going on.

This is a few days old but I talked about it during the game: Can Matthews make it into the Rocket race, and if so could he touch Mats Sundins career goals record this year?

The record is 420 goals, Matthews has 386. He would need 35 goals the rest of the season to break it. That's a lot, but he has gone on streaks we didn't expect before.

The Leafs have 35 games left so he would have to score a goal per game the rest of the season, and stay healthy through those games as well as the Four Nations Face Off.

That's a big ask, but if he doesn't this year we know he will next.
