It's been three days since the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs played a game and we have two more to go.
The Maple Leafs ended their trip to Sweden on Sunday morning with a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild, and will next play Friday afternoon in Chicago.
A couple half days in that math, but the point is, it's still a long time to go.
So, let's see what we can chat about while we sit and wait.
Who wouldn't have "playing for the Maple Leafs" as a goal? I'm welcoming offensive talent but that's not what we're in need of right now. If a defensive trade creates room however....
The PWHL is starting to hold camps and executives are on hand to make sure things go smoothly.
Auston Matthews is in favour of moving some games south, with the Global Series rumoured to head to Mexico City.
The new players are settling in with the Leafs, and hopefully keep on impoving.
Vancouvers Nils Hoglander got the maximum fine ($2,864.58) for slewfooting in the Canucks/Sharks game.
Former NHL ref Tim Peel and Oilers beat writer Mark Spector got into a twitter argument. Sadly it did not end with both participants being fired out of a cannon.
The Winter Classic jerseys for Vegas and Seattle got leaked via the Utah Jazz and pro wrestling...
Inspired by the Seattle Metropolitans and and 1910's designs the jerseys aren't too bad looking.
Finally, fisticuffs came out at a 9+10 year old's hockey game after a player was hit, cowbell was thrown, and then punches followed.
Set the tone boys.
Have a great day!
