That was a fun night last night, I got to go to the game via @The FordFanatic on twitter, the fan deck is way up in the rafters of the ACC, but a birds eye view of the Leafs goals was pretty nice. I also bought my lady a drink and one of those big warm cookies so now my total money given to MLSE since the cancelled season is up to $20. The ride home was fun with a train full of happy Leafs fans and a sad little Canucks fan and his dad. I also made some friends on the train when they didn't know the order of stops and called me their hero for keeping them aware of what stop we were at. I only get flirted with in front of my wife, it's amazing.

So my night was fun last night, and I hope no Rangers have as much fun tonight.

Toronto Maple Leafs @ New York Rangers

The Maple Leafs are on a three game win streak and have gotten 7 points in their last 4 games. James Reimer has given the Leafs some amazing goaltending while Bernier has been injured, but tonight, in game 2 of a back to back, Bernier gets a shot at starting again.

Speaking of getting a shot, Kadri still has no goals on the season, despite a few good chances last night. Everyone was rooting for him but it's just not working out. Hopefully a night a pinch of MSG is just what's needed to kick off his goal scoring for the season.

With this also being a back to back maybe Frank Corrado could finally make it into the line up? Last night could have been a great time to get him in, his first game against the team that waived him? A little more juice for the kick start.

Leafs last game:

Last night the Leafs beat the Vancouver Canucks 4-2, with some help from the video review people. Lots of reviews for one game, one with 6 seconds left which, come on! I get why, but sheesh. Everyone looked good, it wasn't a sloppy game from my vantage point and watching the Sedins live was a treat. Hitting 3 wins in a row after almost a year since the last streak that long is great for the players (even if tankers aren't happy).

Rangers last game:

Also last night! A rare double back to back, so the only advantage is that the Rangers played a matinee and didn't have to travel late. The Rangers beat the Ottawa Senators in a shoot out yesterday. The gang at Blue Shirt Banter can give you more in depth detail.

Scuttlebutt:

Most reporters are talking about football. Not much out there about todays game, except for our special correspondent.

My thoughts:

Three in a row is enough for the Leafs. They drop this one to the Rangers, in a close, well played game.

Is the streak going to hit four?
