Brooks Laich was seen schmoozing with some of his old friends after the Marlies hosted the Comets at the ACC today. We'll have a recap of that game soon.

In other news, the Leafs were doing interesting things today with the power play units, an exercise Mike Babcock described as "just looking".

The point seemed to be to free up Nikita Zaitsev from PP duty since he does so much PK right now.

We'll have to watch for that, but against the Capitals, no PK is the right amount of PK.
