Tonight the Leafs play their first road game of this young season. The first two games went pretty well but tonight we play a team whose mission is winning the Cup as opposed to just making the pre post-season. Pittsburgh lost to the Flyers in their home opener and then lost to the Canadiens in their second game at home before beating the Devils in New Jersey. That makes the Pens 0-2-0 in their new building as Toronto comes to town. Gulp.

Helping our cause somewhat will be their early season injury problems. Jordan Staal is back on the ice skating today but won't play tonight. Brooks Orpik is injured and UFA acquisition Zybnek Michalek is also out. Newcomer Mike Comrie is a healthy scratch. Hopefully the press box is furnished by The Brick for his sake.

The Leafs will keep their lineup the same. Tim Brent and Mike Zigomanis, likely still in "screw up and you're gone" territory, remain with the big club after two solid outings. Jonas Gustavsson will get tonight's start in goal marking the debut of the Monster, per AM640's Jonas Siegel.

In honor of our first road game there's a good chance we'll make a second period road trip to SBNation's Pensburgh. Our first period game thread opens at 7PM. See you there!
