After moving their 24th overall selection for No. 29 (first round) and No. 61 (second round), the Leafs used their newly acquired pick, once of the Philadelphia Flyers, as the eve of the first round began to wind down for another move.

This time, the Leafs swapped with Columbus Blue Jackets, picking up another second round pick and another third round pick.

After the Boston Bruins moved up to select with picks 13, 14 and 15, passing up on highly ranked players like Mathew Barzal (No. 7), Kyle Connor (No. 10), Jeremy Roy (No. 11) and Travis Konecny (No. 12) with all three selections, the draft was shaken up, forcing several players to fall.

For the Leafs, this presented considerable opportunity with the 29th overall selection.

All of Roy, top Swedish defensemen Oliver Kylington (No. 14), our SB Nation NHL mock draft pick Daniel Sprong (No. 16) and highly gifted playmaking centre Nick Merkey (No. 17) were left on the board for the Leafs at at No. 29.

Still, the Leafs opted to slip back, confident they will still get a strong player, while continuing to add more pieces as the rebuild kicks off in Toronto.

With the move, the Leafs now have 20 draft picks in the 2015 and 2016 drafts (10 a piece). Here's where they're located.
