Let’s hope that the Leafs can turn things around this time.

The Senators are of course big news right now because of the coming trade deadline and the lack of a contract extension for Eric Karlsson

TSN talked to his teammates and they gave the usual deferrals and comments about how they want him to stay but right now are simply focused on winning games.

Meanwhile here in Toronto we have Frederik Andersen commenting that his teammates have to figure out if they are really committed to playing for the team, and they need a different attitude. He did not name names, but perhaps we will see who is the player “not committed” by the ice time tonight.

Thursday’s game ended in a disaster of a third period. The Leafs were up 2-0 and they lost 3-2 in overtime.

Let’s hope for a much better result tonight.
