Brandon Carlo to STL for two third-round picks

Brandon Carlo was a breath of right-handed air when he was acquired at the deadline from Boston in 2025. On a retained salary deal, he was a bargain, but the trade cost, next year's first and Fraser Minten rankled.
Still, he was a valuable player in his short debut in that season, but as the 2025-2026 season went off the rails, Carlo was one of the first to slide off course. He missed time with an ankle infection, and by the time he returned to the lineup the team was in a bigger mess. He only played in 55 games, missing some time later in the season.
Now, with the arrival of Darren Raddysh, the right-handedness has no real value, and it was time for him to find a new home.
