The draft is today!

Things you need to know:

2018 Official NHL Entry Draft Order
Bob McKenzie’s final draft rankings are out; let’s look at no. 25
Kevin Papetti’s 2018 NHL draft rankings: June edition (#1-31)
Kevin Papetti’s 2018 NHL draft rankings: June edition (#32-62)

Times and Dates:

The draft is in Dallas, Texas this year, and that means you need to watch your time zones. Local time in Dallas is two hours behind Toronto.  It’s one hour, that is such a sad mistake to make. The times below are in Toronto time:

Round 1 | Fri, June 22 (7:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, SN, TVAS)

Rounds 2-7 | Sat, June 23 (11 a.m. ET; NHLN, SN, TVAS)

Remember, since TSN does not carry the draft, Bob McKenzie is on NBC. The broadcasts are streamed via Sportsnet on their service which is free to all SN TV subscribers or available for $25 per month.

Judging by past years, the Leafs pick will go sometime around 10 p.m., but could go earlier, so don’t wait too long to tune in. The Saturday action should end around 2 p.m.

What we will bring you:

We’ll have a story up for you Friday night with our pick. We’ll try to expand on that Saturday morning with something more comprehensive and our reactions. If there’s a trade, we’ll cover that too.

On Saturday, we’ll have stories on every Leafs pick, so follow along with us for that.
