Watch on: SNO, BSDET
The Leafs last game was an away game on April 1 against the Ottawa Senators, which Toronto won by a score of 3-0. The Leafs have a record of 45-20-10 so far.
The Detroit Red Wings last played an away game on March 31 against the Winnipeg Jets. The Red Wings lost by a score of 6-2, and their current league record is 33-33-9.
At last! A genuine team out of the playoffs. Although not officially eliminated yet, so maybe they believe.

The Leafs had a chance with a lead and very little special teams play last night to play their top lines a little less. What happened is Auston Matthews played 23:19 and Mitch Marner played 21:49, both more than any defender.
The David Kämpf line played a little more than usual, and Zach Aston-Reese got some shifts on other lines as he had double the ice time of his partner Radim Zohorna.
Timothy Liljegren and Luke Schenn seemed to split the job of a single defender, neither of them is playing a locked-in role in these 11-7 games.
I made up some D pairs, which are likely wrong, and I guessed at the forward lines too!
Calle Järnkrok - Auston Matthews - William Nylander
Alex Kerfoot - John Tavares - Sam Lafferty
Michael Bunting - David Kämpf - Wayne Simmonds
Zach Aston-Reese - Nick Abruzzese - Radim Zohorna
Morgan Rielly - Timothy Liljegren
TJ Brodie - Justin Holl
Connor Timmins - Luke Schenn
Matt Murray - likely starter
Every game I think the same things. Play well enough to entertain, and maybe don't play Matthews 24 minutes. Sidestep the big hits, and don't block shots with your fingers.
Every day I bug you with this too because I really believe that we all can keep PPP going, but we need sustainable funding to do that.
