Another recap like object. People ask: Do you even watch the games? I can honestly say, nope, not lately.

First Period

Joe Woll was called on a lot:

Accidental collision. Cousins did not return, Quillan looked to be okay.

Pontus Holmberg took a penalty while it was four-on-four. Then David Kämpf ran off to get a stick after his was broken.

After one it was one-all.

Um... Leafs? Are you lost? Can't find the net?

Second Period

Not a meaningful period for anyone. The Leafs had the puck a lot more and got within hailing distance of the net once or twice, but at the end of it the score was the same.

Sort of better.

Third Period

Huh:

The Senators take the lead:

Leafs get something like real scoring chances late in the third, and it's Pontus Holmberg with the puck.

Big push at the end by the Leafs with Joe Woll pulled, and Mitch Marner just couldn't connect with his passes (I watched this bit).

Big mess at the end when Max Domi's skate blade fails, the Leafs have to do a quick line change and it takes too long to get near the Ottawa net.

The best part of the game for the Leafs was too little, too late.

Final score was 2-1 Senators.
