We start with what is likely a paper transactions for the Leafs, who sent down Bobby McMann (not to be confused with Jared McCann) and Max Lajoie to the Marlies on the team's off day. With Lajoie as one of the less than six healthy defenders, we'll at least see him back up today.

Pontus Holmberg scored twice, and Robert Mastrosimone scored his first pro goal in the Marlies 4-3 loss to the Syracuse Crunch.

Another transaction, this one was Ty Voit heading down to the Newfoundland Growlers from the Marlies. Voit was injured all the way back at the rookie tournament and hasn't played for anyone yet this season. He'll start on the Growlers and we'll see where he goes from there.

Leafs top prospect Fraser Minten got a major penalty for kneeing, had a fight, and was kicked out of the game last night for Saskatoon.

The San Jose Sharks beat the New Jersey Devils in regulation. This is San Jose's sixth regulation win this season, which is more than Toronto's five regulation wins. But just in case anyone was worried, the Leafs have twice as many total wins and twice as many points on the season, so not exactly close.

Ottawa, who had playoff aspirations, are only two points up on San Jose for last after a regulation loss to the Blue Jackets. LOLSNES.

This one doesn't really need an explanation.
