The Leafs actually have something like their original glut of players now with the return to active status of Steven Lorentz.

With Lorentz on the roster, the Leafs have 14 forwards with the mysterious Sammy Blais still yet to play. Yesterday's practice had the Lorentz drawing in on the fourth line while Calle Järnkrok subbing in for Auston Matthews who was taking a turn at tire rotation and an oil change. William Nylander had gone in for maintenance the previous practice.

Man, they're getting old, eh. They'll be 30 before they know it.

Who comes out for Lorentz is one question. What it will take to get Blais in the lineup is another and a third is will someone go for Nick Robertson now that we pretend he can PK?

The answer to these and many other questions will be in the preview later.

You remember Curtis Douglas, well this is a cute story about people going out of their way for a guy.

Quality content. They're all good dogs 11/10, even the cats.

And Sportsnet is going hard on the all video content. I guess ChatGPT wasn't bringing it for them? Anyhow, the links don't embed a useful card that explains what you're clicking on so to hell with them. Somewhere in here is Stolie's ideas on the mask-off rules:

Blue Jays:

The series is 3-2 Seattle, and the Jays have to win two at home to advance.

That's it for now.
