Tyler Bozak must have taken McDavid's comparison to heart last night. He scored his first NHL hat-trick. With help in OT from Eric Brewer, the Leafs picked up a win. Bozak is dangerously close to Boyd Devereaux territory here, but with the number of remaining games rapidly dwindling, it's likely the Leafs are going to pick fourth at the draft, barring a lottery win. Carolina is just four points ahead, but they have eight games remaining vs. the Leafs six.

Dale's recap of the Leafs' victory is here.

Or you can read the SSS version here. They call McBozak a Sens killer. Also, McBozak should be a thing when scores now.

Last night's games

It was busy last night. We're in the home stretch, but playoff seeding is still up in the air.

Predators 4 - Capitals 3
The Predators clinch a playoff spot.

Blue Jackets 4 - Blues 2
The Blue Jackets don't understand this tanking thing and have won 6 in a row.

Bruins 4 - Rangeres 2
The Bruins spoil Lundqvist's return from injury. Also, Tanner Glass is a jerk.

Ducks 3 - Islanders 2
The Islanders are in a funk. The Ducks took four penalties in the second period, and the Islanders only managed four shots on goal.

Flyers 2 - Sharks 3 (SO)
Voracek and Bent Burns had great shootout goals. Zack Rinaldo denied he has a food blog. It's probably Luke Schenn's.

Red Wings 4 - Lightning 0
The Wings are the first team to shut out Tampa this season.

Pens 3 - Coyotes 2
Crosby had another 3 point night to lead the Penguins over the basement dwelling Coyotes. But the real story of the night was Doan's hit on Letang. Letang is spending the night in the hospital.
