Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!
It's Thanksgiving Monday in Canada and Indigenous Peoples Day in the US, and Azerbaijani Railway Day in Azerbaijan!
I hope all of our Azerbaijan rail workers are having an excellent day off.
The Leafs seemed to take the weekend off to enjoy the weather, have some space, and think about what they did on Saturday.

I'm not stressing about it, it was game two. Whatever, man. I mean yes, it could come down to two points at the end of the season, hell it could be one point and they'd have it if they even made it to overtime or a shootout.
That can also be said about any of the losses that will come later in the season.
I'm not an analyst. I've never been known to have my finger on the pulse of what's wrong. I'm just the guy who's been here forever and they can't get rid of. I'm here for a good time, man. So the losses are in the past. The future is tomorrow.
Shake off the loss to the Red Wings and prepare for the next opponent. The Red Wings.
Uh oh.
Good news. Get back to that.
Easton Cowan got a nice surprise at practice yesterday. With Steve Lorentz leaving Saturday's game with an injury a spot opened up for him. And right to the top line he went.

The Toronto Marlies had their home opener this weekend and fared better than the big club.

Staying at Cola Cola Coliseum, the PWHL season starts soon.
Julia Takatsuka is developing new goalies in the Pacific Northwest for the Seattle Kraken.

Speaking of Seattle, the Blue Jays opened the American League Championship Series without any firepower, and they fell 3-1 to the Seattle Mariners.

A name I stumbled across here for you, Cliff Pu - former London Knight, former Sabres 2016 draft pick (69th overall) is now in the English Ice Hockey League.

Finally, because it's train day, here's a review of the trip from Toronto to New York City.
Enjoy your day everyone!
