I don't know what I've done, but clearly, I've done something to upset the Ravens.  As in the bird, the raven, not the NFL team (who really cares about them?).  A few months ago (I'm thinking last fall maybe?) I went for lunch with a friend of mine and on our walk back to my office, a raven poo'd on me.  Wonderful.  But hey, I found out after that it's happened to a lot of people and it was probably just a matter of time until it happened to me, too.

Then yesterday happened.  I was walking to the Vancouver Public Library to drop off a book that was due, and as I walked up Richards, a raven dive-bombed me.  I'm not quite sure exactly what happened, but I felt something on my head and at first panicked, thinking I'd been the victim of another poo attack.  In fact, there was a man who'd been walking towards me who saw the whole thing and I thought he said I had been poo'd upon, but I got to the library washroom and was glad to find out that that was not the case.  Bizarrely, I concluded that the bird had instead landed on my head for a moment only to fly away again.  So, Ravens, I'm not sure what I did to upset you so much, but here is my heartfelt apology in the hopes of escaping any further retribution.

Oh, you want hockey links, not stories about my troubles with nature?  They're after the jump.
