You've heard the news, Bobby McMann is back for another two seasons after signing a $1.35 million AAV contract. Who doesn't love the success story he's become, and it's so good that the pending UFA is sticking with the Leafs with an in-season extension.
Easton Cowan is injured! He's out day-to-day with an upper body injury. His scoring streak still technically lives on, but we hope he's back soon.

Also on the shelf is Mitch Marner, who is still not skating after the long break between games. The likely lines against Philadelphia are below. (btw it is 1am when I'm writing this and it took me four stabs to get "Philadelphia" correct, please clap).

The PWHL have updated their trade deadline and roster freeze dates ahead of the playoffs. If you missed the league's first trade, it was Boston's Sophie Jaques going to Minnesota for Susanna Tapani and Abby Cook, linked below. Tapani is playing centre for Boston and has increased her shot rates on her new team, while the highly-touted Jaques looks like a new player, scoring her first five points of her career and tripling her shot rate. Pretty much a win-win for both sides.
The PWHL has announced that the trade deadline has been revised to Monday, March 18, at 4:00 p.m. ET, and that the new roster freeze date will be Tuesday, March 19, at 12:00 p.m. ET.

You might remember Slater Koekkoek from the Tampa Bay Lightning as an offensive depth defender – or for the Marlies watchers, a Syracuse Crunch dman. He's now making an honest living and loving life a lot more.

In the two years since, he’s raked leaves, shovelled driveways and hauled old toilets.
And he’s never been more fulfilled.
This is a story about an athlete finding happiness on his own terms. https://t.co/3bQMBborMJ
