But well known Toronto resident Taylor Hall took the Stanley Cup for a spin on Lake Muskoka yesterday, and he was allowed to pilot the boat because after multiple failures at the open book boating exam, he finally passed it a few years ago.

Speaking of time, a commemorative Borje Salming watch have been made to raise money for charity.

In honor of the number of NHL contests he suited up for in his illustrious career, only 1,148 limited editions of the watches were made. The hockey-themed timepiece features the CN Tower as a second hand, his signature on the back, his No. 21, and a King’s crown in recognition of both his native Sweden and his nickname during his playing days.
The first 100 watches, numbered 001 through 100, have been reserved for NHL players. One has already been presented to Salming’s former Maple Leafs teammate and close friend Darryl Sitter with the No. 27, representing the number Sittler wore during his own Hall of Fame career.

If you are interested in buying one, they are selling the gold watches for about $12,000.
