Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

This weekend should be a big on for the Maple Leafs - a home and home with QEW rival Buffalo Sabres - and it may be but who will know?

The town, province, perhaps country, is abuzz with the Toronto Blue Jays returning to the World Series for the first time in 32 years.

The broadcast schedule for the 2025 World Series:

MLB (Bot) (@mlbbot.bsky.social) 2025-10-21T05:05:27.000Z

Games one and two are Friday and Saturday night, which clash directly with the Leafs / Sabres games those nights.

The Leafs have made some schedule changes of their own:

Tomorrow's game broadcast will begin 30 minutes earlier, at 7:00PM instead of 7:30PM.

Saturday's game broadcast will begin at 5:00PM instead of 7:00PM.

Tuesdays game against the Calgary Flames will now begin at 6:00PM.

After that the Leafs hit the road for Columbus on Wednesday, and Philadelphia on Saturday. No word yet if the Leafs will try to force those times to change if the unthinkable happens and the Jays don't sweep the Dodgers.

So, back to the Leafs...this headline stinks.

Maple Leafs notebook: Nuclear option now on the table?
As the search for a top-line right wing to skate alongside Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies continues, Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube is mulling the idea of loading up his best left wing, centreman, and right wing on a more full-time basis.

Nuclear meaning play Nylander with Matthews & Knies. Not what I'd call nuclear there Luke.

Sorry Craig, but you did.

Craig Berube on the Leafs’ recent inconsistent play: “Our whole team is shooting themselves in the foot... We didn’t do that stuff last year”
After Wednesday’s practice, Craig Berube discussed the latest updates on Chris Tanev, Scott Laughton, and Joseph Woll, as well as his team’s recent losses and the play of the Matthews-Knies line. Why did you decide to make today’s practice optional? Berube: We have back-to-back games coming up. We have an early game on Saturday here […]

What does any of this mean? No one knows.

The Vancouver & Seattle PWHL teams have released their jerseys for this season.

The PWHL dropped expansion team jerseys for Seattle and Vancouver on Tuesday, ahead of the league’s 2025/26 season start.

Names and logos will come next year, because why have that all ready at once.

The Toronto Tempo have named their first head coach as we approach their inaugural WNBA season.

Report: Tempo hire Sandy Brondello franchise’s first head coach
Sandy Brondello is set to become the first coach of the Toronto Tempo, a person familiar with the hire told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

The former New York Liberty coach comes to Toronto, with a big 2024 championship ring on her hand.
