In all honesty I only paid partial attention to the game last night. The French Open is on this week (and I got up at 5 this morning for some Denis Shapovalov second round action) so I’m a little tuned out.

That said I was not sufficiently out of it to miss this:

At some point, because Washington is involved, there will be some ridiculous triple-OT game in this series. However Braden Holtby clearly sacrificed the right goat prior to last night’s game to keep it a 3-2 win in regulation. Nobody’s sweeping anybody. Could this thing go to seven?

Only real Leafs news of note comes from instagram where Morgan Rielly is having backyard adventures with a bluejay he’s named Joe Carter. It’s that sort of week.
