It was not a great night for the Maple Leafs. After a big win against the Wild, the Leafs bombed against the capitals in a game that was quite sloppy after the first period.
Here’s our recap of last night’s game.
At least we got some great soup action when Ilya Mikheyev scored.

Meanwhile the Marlies were playing the Hershey Bears, which are the Washington Capitals affiliates, and they pulled off their fourth win in four games this season. The very popular Egor Korshkov scored a big one on the power play with this lovely tip in.

They’re the hardest working guys on the ice so it’s tough when one goes down, especially from a fluke accident.

Fianlly, here’s some terrible data presentation for you. Someone at Sportsnet wrote an article about Morgan Rielly. You can read it here. What I would like to highlight is how they included bar graphs with a photo of Rielly as the background.
Seriously. Who the hell approved something like this? Get your bifocals out and squint and maybe you can sort of figure out what this is? This is the kind of mess I would expect to see in a middle school student’s science report because “it makes the graph look more cooler.”
