Good Morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

Are we feeling better after Monday’s loss? I’m not but that’s because my struggles with my basement continue. I fixed the pipe that broke during the game, but now I get to remove all of the flooring down there!

Never buy a house, kids.

We have a little bit of news for you then we get on with our day, sound good?

First up is we figured out what happened to Rasmus Sandin:

Before this news came out Katya looked at his options for the remainder of this season, but now it appears that he’s out of action for a month or so. He’ll probably just stick with the Marlies.

Updated with injury news: decisions loom for Rasmus Sandin and the Maple Leafs

That’s a blow to everyone who wanted him back; like the Soo Greyhounds who are caught up in the middle of the OHL trade deadline without a new acquisition. We’ve seen Leafs prospect Fedor Gordeev switch teams ahead of tomorrow’s deadline, but will anyone else? Well, earlier in the game the Storm play by play man tweeted this:

Then this came out of Owen Sound..

If you like rumours, and Maple Leafs prospects, and live near Guelph, then gt ready for a pair of Leafs prospects patrolling the blue line if they can work out their issues. After failing with Sudbury, the Soo, and Niagara, Sean Durzi may be on the move to Guelph if the rumours hold true.

Finally, Trevor Moore and Kasimir Kaskisuo were sent down to the Marlies again.

After no games for two days, the pair can practice with the Marlies, and maybe play tonight, saving the Leafs some cap money. If needed, they can return to the Leafs on Thursday.

Speaking of the Marlies, here’s that weekend recap you wanted!
