Today the OHL announced it’s roster for the annual CIBC CHL Canada / Russia series. Every November a team of junior aged Russian players comes to Canada and play two games against each CHL league. This year the games will take place from November 6th to 16th, starting in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and ending in Moncton, New Brunswick.

The Toronto Maple Leafs very own Keaton Middleton has been picked to play for Team OHL on Monday, November 13th fin Sudbury, Ontario. Middleton arrived back in the OHL late this year and has only played four games for the Saginaw Spirit. In those games he’s added two assists to the score sheet.

Team Canada brass watches this series, and while it usually has no effect on their roster decisions, Middleton should make the most out of this opportunity, you never know when one pass, one goal, one blocked shot will impress someone and land you a spot in WJC camp.

If you want to watch, the series will be broadcast on Sportsnet and TVA Sports. It may be shown on CHL Live, and you can check on CHLCanadaRussia.ca for more updates.
